Water treatment is traditionally one of the largest applications in the field of ion exchange resins; however, it has now evolved to various speciality applications. Hence, we believe in developing and offering customised solutions to our customers, which are efficient, economical and provide value for money.
To date, a number of customers seeking solutions for industrial, municipal, domestic and wastewater related problems have benefited from Thermax products and services.
Our resin manufacturing plant at Dahej, Gujarat, India is a fully automated plant with state-of-the-art DCS system and latest digital technologies. We use clean fuel and modern air scrubbing units that are environment friendly. Every batch of Tulsion® ion exchange resins is manufactured under carefully controlled process parameters and follows a rigorous quality assurance protocol. We have already commenced the Phase–II of our Dahej facility to cater to the growing global market demand.
Thermax has two other manufacturing facilities at Paudh, Maharashtra, India and Jhagadia, Gujarat, India for ion exchange resins and performance chemicals respectively.

Tulsion® polymeric adsorbents can be used in columns with repeated exhaustion and regeneration cycles in both up-flow and down-flow operations. They have specifically designed pore size, surface area and particle size, and qualify the stringent limits of free salts and metals.

Tulsion® Mixed Bed (MB) resins are a mixture of cation and anion exchange resins, used as polishers to obtain high purity water, which is required for boiler feed for high-pressure boilers, electronics and electrical discharge cutting machines, glass window washing and pharmaceutical applications.
Premixed resins are available in different proportions and combinations of cation and anions to suit end-user needs.
Tulsion® resin used - Tulsion® MB-101, Tulsion® MB-106, Tulsion® MB-108, Tulsion® MB-115 and Tulsion® MB-1060.
Tulsion® resin in Na+ form is used for softening. It is commonly used to reduce the adverse effects of hard water like corrosion, scaling, reduce heat transfer rate and decrease efficiency of the equipment.

Tulsion® resin is used for juice de-acidification, de-bittering, sugar decolourisation and purification, etc. It also plays a vital role in transforming raw materials into high quality processed food.
Applications: Sorbitol de-ashing and colour removal, liquid glucose de-ashing, de-colorisation, inversion, sugar purification and concentration, de-bittering and juice de-acidification.

Ion exchange resin is used for the removal of contaminants from the waste water so that it can be reused in the process cycle. The effluent generated from various industries can be treated using resins. These resins can be used in conjunction with effluent treatment and sewage treatment plants for the treatment of the water.

Thermax offers a specialty Tulsion® range of polymeric catalysts that are available in hydrogen and hydroxyl form. The hydrogen form catalyst is used for reactions catalysed by mineral acids, whereas the catalyst in hydroxyl form is used for base catalysed reactions.
Tulsion® resins are widely used as catalysts in heterogeneous catalysis for providing excellent kinetic performance. Tulsion® catalysts can be used in agitated reactors as well as in continuous fixed bed reactors.
